Lent
Ash Wednesday
Lent begins on Ash Wednesday February 17th. Ashes will be distributed during all masses at: 8am, 12:05pm and 5pm. Because of COVID restrictions, ashes will be lightly sprinkled on the hair instead of being placed on the forhead.
Weekday Masses
During Lent, weekday masses will be celebrated at both 8am and 12:05pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays. Wednesday Masses will be celebrated at 8am and 5pm, (On Ash Wednesday, Mass will also be celebrated at 12:05pm.)
Stations of the Cross
We will participate again this year with Christ The King Parish for Stations of the Cross.
Stations will be prayed at 7pm on the 5 consecutive Fridays of Lent, excluding Good Friday:
Friday, February 19- at SSPP
Friday, February 26- at CTK
Friday, March 5- at SSPP
Friday, March 12- at CTK
Friday, March 19- at SSPP
Friday, March 26- at CTK
Holy Week
Holy Thursday: Morning Prayer at 9am; 7pm Mass of the Last Supper (Church will remain open for Adoration until 11pm.)
Good Friday: 9am Morning Prayer; 3pm Liturgy of the Passion of Christ; 7pm Tenebrae Service
Holy Saturday: 9am Morning prayer; 1pm, Blessing of Easter Baskets; 8pm, Easter Vigil
Easter Sunday: 9:30 and 11:30am Masses
